Anyone play Rugby? - 3 Fat Chicks on a Diet Weight Loss Community

I just joined the team at my university. I thought it would help me lose weight. Im having a blast but would love to have a Rugby weight loss buddy. Plus I have a bunch of questions about the game. Before I joined the team, I knew nothing about Rugby. I thought I might have a better shot at finding someone on the UK page even though Im not from the UK. Anyone wanna chat about Rugby?

don't play anymore due to being lazy and always injured, however i've also coached and played both versions of the game. what would you like to know

I played for a few years when womens rugby was just starting in New Zealand. That was late 80s through to mid 90s LOL. Fun game, and takes a lot of stamina to last that 80 minutes running around. Its a work out and a half for sure.

i started when i started at uni, was placed as a prop.

unfotunatly i had to stop as they had a no jewellery rule, and i couldnt take my nose stud out. complete bugger as i loved it

id just had it done the week before, so if id taken it out for the 2.5hr session, it would close up

your a prop like me we are a hardy bunch let it close up then go out on the beer and do it again in the pub washed down with a couple of shots.

honestly this new breed of player just not as tough as we used to be

hahaha ive been wanting it done for so long, and i couldnt afford to get it done again!!

also, supposedly, the league we would have been playing in it reknown for front row distraction techniques, such as kissing the opposing teams, grabbing tits etc. Im not into women like that hahaah

thats my kind of league! couldn't afford to have it done again? i dont' think you understood what i said you go to the pub get drunk and do it again. (yourself) safety pin heated with a lighter either that or just force the nose ring back in, wash it down with a double vodka and you wont notice untill the morning.

I play for Northwich Ladies - we are a union side in Cheshire!

Rugby can aid in weight loss - however, the biggest thing is when u lose weight you are more mobile on the pitch and able to make miles more tackles!!
