My daughter is 17. She doesn't come to the site but has decided to do what old mom does because she sees it works. I use fit day to keep tack of all my food. I ALSO make sure I get ALL the required amounts of the four basic food groups and exercise each week day. The journey you are taking isn't about losing weight, you keep that in mind. This journey we are all on to a more healthy thinner person is about eating right and exercising. The GREAT side effect of this is we lose weight. Don't let the scale run your life either. The scale is only one way we can see how well we are doing. How your clothes fit, the amount of energy you have and the changes you see in your body are just as important, if not more so, than the numbers on the scale. Hope you post often. Please post anywhere you like. You don't have to fit into a certain thread because of age or weight. You will find people all over the site that are full of encouragement. To answer your question. Yes, I have seen a few teenagers on the site. How tall are you, how old, how much do you weigh. Us grumpy mothers want to make sure you lose weight in a healthy manner lol.

When you think you are on this journey all alone. When there isn't a person in sight to give you the encouragement you need. Remember, God is right there beside you. Usually yelling, put down that candy bar. All we have to do is listen to him.

I love to come here and chat. We talk about everything not just weight loss. It helps to have people to chat with that understand.

it definately helps to write it on here and its good to just surf through the threads as well and realise your not the only one who feels the way you do.
I find it really perks me up and gives me a boost if I`m feeling tempted or a bit sad. There are some quite funny stories on here as people don`t just talk about their weight but things that happen in throughout their day.

Good luck
