Good thread, Christie!

I got out of bed and came to work, in spite of the fact that I'm still a little bit sick (but not sick enough to stay home). I had a healthy, quick breakfast from home instead of getting some "comfort food" on the road as a 'treat' for going in to work when feeling less than 100% perfectly well.

Not weight-related: In a tactful manner, I sent an email to a friend and told him exactly what he was saying that bothered me and why. He appreciated my honesty and addressed each of my concerns.

Good job, Christie! I would have found that to be a difficult challenge.

I stuck to my cheese sandwich and roasted veggies for lunch.

Talking I was Proud Today...

I went to Temple Services with my DH and they always have a lot of food there afterwards. I had some Perrier with lemon (I had never had this before - it was good) and some slices of pear. NO COOKIES or COFFEE CAKE!! I exercised for 45 minutes at lunch - my favorite - the eliptical. Have a great weekend everyone!

I am proud that I am on my 14th day of phase one and have accomplished the goal I had set for myself ( finally) this month...I watched them eat every kind of food that I love and did not give in to any ice cream chips or donuts with my family...I am proud to be me today

My father took me out to lunch at Applebee's and I ordered from the WW menu - steak and shrimp skewers at 370 cal and 7 grams of fiber.

PLUS, he asked me twice if i wanted chips and salsa, and I said no. (even though inside i was saying, yes, yes, yes).

WOW!! That's so GREAT! What an accomplishment. You should be so proud.

As for me, I was proud that I jog/walked for 50 minutes on Monday -(I was trying to take off the extra pound I gained over the weekend--I got off 0.5# of it). We are starting a new game at our TOPs. It's called "Holiday Bells" and you can earn a large jingle bell if you lose or stay the same, and small jingle bells for keeping a food journal, exercising and contacting a TOPs friend. So...I earned 3 small bells - hopefully I'll get a big bell next week. We are stringing our bells to make holiday ornaments.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!
