Default Allergy meds

I took a claritin yesterday to try and hold off some allergies. Everything is blooming and of all the stupid things to be allergic to, I am most allergic to grass. I think my allergies will be better this year since I am on SBD because they usually are when I cut out white flour.
Anyway my question is, does anyone else have problems with losing weight on claritin? I went up 1.5 pounds yesterday. I almost think I would rather sneeze than to gain back any weight. Isn't that crazy?

I just started my Claritin this morning...yikes!
My allergies are so awful tho...I just can't forego the meds.
Maybe they make you retain water?
Drink a lot (of water!) and try to flush your system.

Looks like weight gain could be a side effect of loratadine (Claritin). See

Bring on the kleenex. I have worked too hard to 'blow' it on a few sniffles.

Well, I'm on Claritin too. and it hasn't even been working for me. Though I've read that you can eat local honey and it will build an immunity, and I'm going to try that now that I'm on phase two. I'm not too worried about having a little bit with tea or just eating a spoon a day. I figure if I'm gonna have a weight gain issue from allergies it might as well be from honey, then from claratin.
