Good morning,

It was a muggy morning for a walk but I got it out of the way. Today I have my first PT appt and have a ton of conference calls and then DD2 has art class. Thank goodness all are inside as it will be over 100 today.

Amy glad they found out what was causing it and good for you getting back down.

Jekel that recipe sounds good, I would be the only one in my house who would eat it (leftovers lol)

Ruth glad Bruce is with you

Beth glad the scale is going down

DrMarjie the recipes section is great

Debbie sounds like you have a plan to conquer Denver today

Have a great day everyone!

Morning, chicks!

We have lovely sunshine this morning and I don't have to go to work probably means some garden time. There are also blueberries to pick. It is so awesome to have things ready to pick; I've got cukes, lettuce and radishes as well. Looking forward to my tomatoes ripening soon.

Pearlrose, you guys are having some crazy heat! Try to stay cool today!

Amy, good job on getting the weight back down.

Debbie, the amazing thing about the blueberries is we have a couple bushes where the berries are as big as a nickel!

Thinking of Ruth and hoping her trip is as good as can be.

Off to refill my coffee cup. Have a good day, chicks!

Good morning! It is still morning here for about a half hour. I traveled back to Glenwood late yesterday so got to pool last night and again this morning. I spent about an hour at the garden store which is seasonal and closing soon. Got a few more plants and a rose Trellis for my new climbing rose.

Now I need to get a small smoothie in which will last me till my girlfriend gets back from the chiropractor. We are going to have Asian salad with some kind of protein. Still doing well with food and scale inches down more today.

I'm going to go help my friend for a half hour with some bedroom organizing so I want to get my office carpet cleaned first. I have doggy stains. Finally got a carpet cleaner dedicated to this place. Yay!

Enjoy the rest of your day, my friends!

Good morning, chicks!

It's another nice morning, although there is a chance of a storm later. I had a productive day yesterday outside: blueberries, weeding, deadheading. There's always something to do outside at this time of year. I'm trying a new blueberry muffin recipe this morning that uses almond flour. I'll let you know how it turns out. Last weekend I made the flax and almond pancakes with berries for DH and he loved it. The season is too short not to make a few recipes with fresh berries.

The other news of the month is I bought a pilates chair. I can be a sucker for TV ads but I think this is going to be a good investment. It came with several DVDs and so I am working through those and figuring out the best ones.

Time for more coffee. Have a great Friday, chicks.

Happy Friday!

Beth - let me know what you think of the chair, I'm always on the lookout for things to do.

It's July, that means the swamp of DC is not just the people, but the weather. Last night I was telling the family the idea of a 3 week stay in Iceland every July sounds very appealing. I love it here 11 months of the year, but July is just brutal.

I am having a party for my sister in a month. I've been looking at pinterest for ideas and one thing I'm doing is water coloring napkins in an ombre. I finally figured out the technique, and yesterday I picked the color. So now that I have the color I will test one today for where exactly I'm stopping and starting and then I'm having a napkin painting party with hubby, my daughter and her friend.

Good morning,

I went into work this morning, have one meeting in person and then back home as I have PT this afternoon and then DD2 has Ortho appt as well. The heat index will be close to 116 degrees today whew, it was so hot yesterday you could only go outside for a couple of minutes, I would walk the dog just long enough for her to go pee and then head back in. Crazy weather.

Amy you will have to post a picture of your napkins

Beth I try not watch infomercials as I always want to purchase lol. Let us know how the chair works out for you.

Have a great day everyone!

Good morning!

I traveled from Glenwood this morning now ready to tackle some things in the yard. I have a cup of coffee now but I think I should start my smoothie soon.

Rose, I hope you are home soon and have a respite from The heat.

Amy, the party sounds fun! Especially coming up with some new ideas for decorating.

Beth, good for you getting all that stuff done in the yard. Your new Pilates chair sounds interesting.

OK, I had best get moving. Have a great day everyone!
