Ruth, I have rhubarb in the freezer if you want to run over and get it. Actually, that is a good idea, maybe I'll make the strawberry-rhubarb jello dessert. As for thinking summer, have you seen the pictures on facebook of people painting flowers on their snow banks?

Jennifer, I use that almond flour/parm cheese trick quite a bit. Yummy.

Cottage, a late service sounds like a great plan. Be safe when you go.

Tammy, I haven't been good about meal planning lately. You would think I would learn how much easier life is when I plan!!

It's sad to see my vacation week wrap up but that also means we wrapping up February and spring is on the way! (Staying positive here, folks)

Did end up going with DD1 to look at computers, we have narrowed it down to 3 now I will do some research to see which is the better one.

We ended up going to see McFarland USA last evening it was a good movie enjoyed it.

Not sure what is on the agenda today, I did not get all the cleaning done so maybe will do some of that.

Good Morning!

I got up, did stuff, went back to bed, got up and did stuff now it's time to get my smoothie going and head to work. Car is swept off-now time for remote start. I persisted and got all the reports printed to finalize 2014 for my mom. I'll drop them off this morning. Pick DH up at the airport after work. He will be disappointed in current weather-SFO was beautiful.

I just got back from the grocery store, and the main roads aren't bad, just slushy. The side streets still need some work, though. The sun is trying to make a feeble appearance and hopefully that will clear things out before I go pick up Dad for church at 11.

Tammy, I'm glad to know you got home okay last night. Our neighbor skidded on the ice on her way home last night and did some major damage to her car. Thankfully she was able to drive it home, and she wasn't hurt.

Ruth, have fun at Family Dinner tonight! I've made peach or blueberry shortcake from frozen fruit when strawberries weren't available, and it's almost as good.

Beth, I'm so looking forward towards Spring and am elated that we're almost into March. Hopefully we should start thawing out!

Pearlrose, I hope you score a great deal on a new laptop. Shopping for a new one must get pretty confusing with all the new features and whatnot that are available nowadays.

Debbie, have a good day at work. It must be pretty busy with all the ski traffic right now, I imagine. Yay for getting all the tax stuff done. We've filed and gotten our refund back already, thank goodness! Don't forget to take a heavy jacket along for your DH when you pick him up at the airport, LOL!
