Yep simetimes I do silly stuff to save money...especially when it is very easy.
I made homemade greek yogurt. I know how many calories were in the ingredients but now that I have strained it I am wondering about the whey.
I am not worried about consuming the yogurt but if I use the whey I don't want to end up going overboard and mess up. Does that even make sense? It maybe to early for me to not sound like I am babbling.
I am all about saving money too, but never tried making Greek yogurt, which is a staple for me! I do buy it at BJ's the large Chiobani FF plain one is a dollar less than Shoprite who is .50 less than Stop and Shop. I'm not sure what whey is (protein right?) I do add whey proteins to my smoothies and do not have any issues from it.
yes it is a protein. I was thinking of making some type of protein shake maybe add some cocoa and splenda. I don't know. When I figure it out I will let you know haha
I decided to make it b/c it is a 30 minute drive for me to get it at a decent price and my kids love the smoothies out of it with fruit and I know it is so good for them!
