I had one today (although I feel a lot bigger in my stomach today and was +3 on the scale for my try at an official weigh-in
) -- well three. I did not stress eat!
I tend to and use it as my excuse. I also wasn't prepared today, didn't bring anything and tried to use it as an excuse for every snack and meal so far. Instead of grabbing a muffin (oh I can! it's a LIFESTYLE change so I will do a low fat one), I went and got half a one egg omelet with cheese and veggies and one slice of bacon -- for lunch I ate ONE dry rub salmon kabob with veggies and a HUGE salad and passed on all the cookies and cakes -- I passed on the cupcakes for my colleagues goodbye party AND instead of going to get one just now, I went for a walk to CVS and bought some nuts.
I am very proud of me right now. And despite the fact that I have 200+ pages of reading, 3 written 1,000 word assignments and a huge project at work due today that I haven't even started on (not to mention our webinar software isn't working and IT can't figure out why and I need it for Tuesday) I didn't even binge on the nuts!!!
Deep breaths...and lots of water!
