i have never been happier with myself. one week back on southbeach and i lost 7 lbs. now that's motivation. i know i can i know i can. believe me if the scale did not move down i would have quit. i am a the type of person that needs instant gratification. hubby lost 5 lbs too. today is a great day!!!!!!!!!!!!:ca rrot:
i mainly eat fish. mostly salmon. i bought salmon burgers at costco and they were so good ate them in a lettuce wrap. also shrimp and chicken and salads. for breakfast i eat turkey bacon and eggs and when i'm tired of eggs, nonfat vanilla yogurt. you should check out the recipes in the phase 1 forum.

Wifey's right in that your loss will slow after about a week because your body will start to lose primarily fat instead of water, but how great is that?! You want to get rid of the fat, too, right?! Even if it's a little slower, it's coming off, and a slow loss is a great way to have a consistent, manageable loss.
