( I posted this question in the 100 plus forum, thought I'd bring it here too to get your favs!)
I'm in the process of sticking motivational notes all over my fridge and house.
My favorite this week is:
NOTHING, Absolutely nothing, tastes as good as being thin feels.
( Thank you Rockin' Robin that one struck a chord.)
When I first saw that quote, I was like...What the heck does thin feel like anyways?
As I pass that quote in my house now , I'm like "I'm on my way!"
I'll know one of these days..
Wow, I don't think I have a favorite motivational quote! Maybe that's the problem. There's DH's favorite, "we're surrounded by idiots", but that doesn't quite work. Now I feel left out, jealous, and kind of empty. Going off to look for a motivational quote to call my own...
Here's an interesting one I just came across on an Anxiety forum. It's thought provoking and fitting for those who need a little of the "tough love" vibe.
"It's your body, it's totally in your control, so be strong and take control now."
"Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess the baggage, the shorter the trip."

"You have to stay in shape. My grandmother, she started walking five miles a day when she was 60. She's 97 today and we don't know where the **** she is."
-Ellen Degeneres (that one just makes me laugh)
"One cardinal rule in behavioral medicine is that unless it is interfered with, your body knows exactly what it is doing and always does the best thing it can do under the circumstances. Consequently, if you are overweight, you may reasonably assume that the extra fat itself is your body's best adjustment to the circumstances you are providing."
-Jill Johnson
"Eat to live, don't live to eat" is one I have to keep coming back to over and over again. Will it matter tomorrow whether I had that fried fish or a healthy grilled fish? Right now the fried might sound better, but tomorrow my heart will be happier and I probably won't remember the taste of the fried!
The belly is the reason why man does not mistake himself for a god. -Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900) [Beyond Good and Evil, 1886]

The average pencil is seven inches long, with just a half-inch eraser – in case you thought optimism was dead. -Robert Brault, software developer, writer (1972- )
I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work. Thomas Edison (1847-1931)
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt! - Lucy Van Pelt in Peanuts by Charles M. Schulz
Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. - Sir Winston Churchill
