Default Hi - another newbie, w/ a question or 2

Hi! I am happy to have stumbled upon this board.

I just started doing WW Core on Friday. Previously, I had been doing flexpoints (and I use the term "doing" very loosely! ) and it was causing me frustration this time around (I'm a former WWer from pre-pregnancy and in-between pregnancies). I'm trying to get off about 30 lbs. - some of it pregnancy weight, some of it was hanging around before then.

I am a busy and tired mom of 2 little ones, and don't have it in me to make meetings right now. (I was attempting to when doing flexpoints - it lasted about a week ) - so I will be signing up online - probably later today. (A friend was gracious and shared w/ me the basics of the Core plan so I could see if I thought it was for me or not...after just 2 days on it I think I'm sold.)

My question (for now) - does the Core plan make any allowances for breastfeeding? With flexpoints, I know I got 10 extra pts. a day. I'm thinking the answer is NO - b/c as long as I'm eating Core foods I can eat more of them if needed. (The milk production business makes me HUNGRY.) Just wondering if there is any mention of it at meetings.

Not to my knowledge since on flex you eat until satisified on CoreFoods and use WPAs and APs for nonCoreFoods you don't need that. I will double check in my books though.

Here is what it states on page 44 of the Week1 Booklet (not verbatim):

Whether you're following the Flex or Core Plan it is important to follow the 8 Healthy Steps.

1) increase dairy to 3 servings
2) increase veggies/fruits to 8 servings
3) increase your healthy oil to 3 tsp
4)increase water to 8 8-ounce glases instead of 6 8-ounce glasses
