Starting Medifast tomorrow!

  • I just got engaged this weekend and even though we're not planning a wedding for awhile, I know that this is the right time for me to get myself in gear so I can be happy AND healthy. My food will be delivered today so I will start tomorrow.

I am nervous and excited but am happy to have found these forums for support!
  • First of all, congrats on your engagement!!! And welcome to Medifast, it's an amazing program and it works! 25 days in I've lost 16 pounds (and that's coming off a horrible week that I'm not counting ) The first week is going to be tough, so utilize your coach and this group, and the fb group is great as well!
  • Thank you, Andi24! I am very excited to start, just had my first bar when I woke up. It was delicious.
  • Good luck!! If you found you don't like something there are ways to make certain things better, use them for recipes, or save for later because your taste buds tend to change after a few Weeks. I used to hate the macaroni and cheese, now it's one of my favorites!
  • Congrats on your engagement! Medifast is the greatest thing, as long as you stick to the plan! I've noticed you start getting really creative with your lean and green too! There are some great resources on the forums, too! But just be careful with what you post. I've noticed with so many people on the forum people take things the wrong way and jump all over others.

Andi is right, too about your taste buds changing. I used to LOVE the brownies, now I can't stand them and I've got a whole 2 boxes left.
  • Congrats on your engagement citygirl! I've lost count, but I think I've been on Medifast for 7 weeks now. I'm right at 25 pounds lost! It's super easy to follow. The will power can be hard, but I'm sure you are motivated to look your best on your big day!!!
  • Thank you all!! I have to say I'm a little concerned because I'm finding this way too easy.. I do get hunger pangs right around the 2.5 hr mark, but then I eat and I'm fine. Am I doing something wrong? I don't feel deprived or sluggish or anything.
  • Consider yourself lucky! As long as your following the plan exactly you aren't doing anything wrong. Don't be surprised if it gets harder today or tomorrow, but for now consider yourself lucky!
  • I'm starting Friday! Congratulations on your engagement, citygirl!
