if I can feel sexy die to exercise so can you!!

  • I know i've posted a few posts on here about belly dancing. But my god does it make you feel sexy. Once you've got the hang of it it's incredible, I've just been doing it for 90mins and i'm sweaty, but not out of breath and feel so good! damn it that I don't have a man in my life!! (and it burns around 450 cals per hour as an added bonus to get you through the elephant phase)

    I love it as I don't dread having to do it, it relaxes me so I sleep better, and it helps my over all fitness as well as the sexiness factor. You can also do it for free via youtube! result!

    I'm singing it's praises because at 217lbs its very difficult for me to feel ok about myself let alone sexy, and I want other people to get the same benefit from your chosen exercises as i'm starting too

    I've gotten into Zumba and I've NEVER been a dancer!!
    But after these classes I find myself dancing ANYTIME i hear music now! lol I Love it!
    I work out sooo much but I feel the most results after zumba! It's so fun and effortless!
    I guess loving what you do makes the difference in exercise too!

  • I love Zumba too! Belly dancing did not come to me as easily, my body just doesn't move like that! But I agree, loving what your doing makes it way more fun.
  • I love belly dancing. It's a dance that celebrates your curves ^_^! Be sure to check out the different types out there (Turkish, Egyptian, Lebanese, Khaleeji, and North African (Algerian, Moroccan, etc.)) I didn't know it burnt that many calories :O !
  • Well thats for me, if your over weight then you burn more calories but it's still a **** of a lot of calories. I tend to do either Arabic or Egyptian :-) so I get to do the camel walk and hip drops, they're killers
  • I tried it last night and had so much fun. My boyfriend is gone until Friday. I'm hoping I can get less awkward so I wont be afraid to continue to do it after he's home.
  • I've really been wanting to try a belly dancing class lately. I found a studio in my town that has classes but I've been too scared to try it out. Maybe I'll try some things on youtube and ondemand first before I venture out into the real world. I'm still not totally convinced I can get my body to move that way though lol.
