  • Some of my faves:

"No matter the influence, it is still my hand that puts the food into my mouth."

"The pain of discipline is less than the pain of regret."

"If I don't have it today, I can still choose it tomorrow."

"It doesn't taste as good as you think it tastes."

Repeat over and over: "Don't be a fat girl."

    Best wishes!!

  • Awesome thread....i LOVE it. You are all so inspirational

The tragedy in life doesn't lie in not reaching your goal; The tragedy lies in having no goal to reach.

Also, one that inspired me recently as i have hit a stall:

Have you hit a brick wall? Aim higher and jump over it!!

  • I read this every day. It directly relates to my fears of losing weight and maintaining it.

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated fron our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."
