  • silly question I know but I hate my clothes adding so much weight to my weigh in's there and normally I wear a very light tshirt or tank top with my very light shorts but it's too cold this morning to wear them.. do you take clothes and change while you are there or just wear jeans? I put jeans on this morning and on my scale it added lb.. but if I start wearing them today and for the whole winter it will balance out right? take a higher weigh in today for a more accurate one next time?? what do you think/do?
  • I wear my normal work clothes. If I weigh in on Friday, I'll sometimes even be wearing jeans. I figure it will all balance out in the end. I do try to be conscience not to wear anything overly heavy and have even taken off bulky jewelry before. I know my clothes usually adds a pound to my weight for the day.
  • Yep, I agree. In fact, last week I knew I'd be up b/c of my cycle, so I went ahead and wore my jeans and sweater that day! haha! In general, I try to wear the same kinds of things. Saw a lady last week weighing in her undies...hope to never reach that point.
  • Just saw this post...I'm on Weight Watchers so weigh weekly at a work meeting. I wear the same dress every Tuesday with no jewelry and only coffee and yogurt in my tummy. I wonder if anyone else notices that I appear to only own one outfit.

    Hmmmmm......
  • LOL!! that cracked me up debi but I can see that happening, lol.. I was glad I wore jeans, this way I'm ready for the entire winter
  • When i weigh in at WW and it's cool out, I wear scrub pants. They are practically weightless.
  • My lightweight running clothes are my preference.
  • Alomost anything but Jeans. I hope I never am so desperate that I weigh in in my undies, but, well, you just never know how desperate you can get and if I am close to goal weight I may not mind showing off (just kidding lol)

Had a good day today on program but I have to say my stress levels are crazy. Past few weeks have been one personal problem after another. Thank goodness for xanax to sleep!

Decided a new picture was in order, the one I have been using is a few years old.

    Goodnight all!
  • Hang in there Sherral, stress is sure tough on the body.. love the new pic!
  • I weighed in first in jeans (down 1) then in undies last time just to see how much of a difference it made. I was one pound lighter sans jeans but they said it can be as much as 2-2 1/2. The weigh room is private so no one but the counselor and my kid saw me drop trou. I probably won't do it again though, it was weird.
  • My center's weigh in room has no door. So no undies for me!
  • The way I look at it is that heavy jeans did not get us to the place where we need to go into a weight loss center! :-O Have a great day all!

Yip, so true. So, I am just thinking that just something similar at each visit is the best indicator. Similar time of day, similar drinking/eating ahead of visit, and similar clothing.
  • Hi...
I have two pairs of real lite cotton capris that I wear and change when I get to work.. However, I am thinking, if I do well in weigh in tomorrow, may go with a pair of jeans next week. It will put the weight in, but at least I can wear the same weight pants on weigh in and not change. I always wear a lite cotton blouse. I live in the South, so do not need real heavy clothing at this time.

  • I'm getting a a good laugh at this thread. Here I thought I was the only one that stressed and planned ahead for what to wear to the center. So nice to know I am not alone.

I am going to the center to weigh in tomorrow and I am wearing a very lightweight spa uniform.

By the way, does anyone else take their jewelry off before going in to weigh in?
