Okay, I just assumed they had went hand in hand since HPV does cause cervical cancer. That is rather upsetting that you weren't asked to consent. I hope you find a better gyno soon.

I guess I'm just not educated about this subject, but I thought that was the whole reason for a pap smear... For a doctor to see if there are any abnormal cells? If not, then what is it for?
