I've heard just the opposite before, actually, that on taller girls capris look funny because it just looks like you bought pants that were too short for you. I guess they just don't look that good...

Yes, you do get acclimated. If it drops below 70 now, I feel "cold." I wear long sleeves everywhere anyway (not heavy sweaters though), because I absolutely refuse to get a tan. :p
