Since my periods got irregular and this whole PCOS thing started, I've noticed that they are different. I have had periods since being on Met and Spironolactone and losing about 15 lbs (WITHOUT birth control ) but my periods seem heavier now, very runny and very dark. (I hope this is not TMI )

I have an appt with my gyn next week and will discuss this with her but wanted to see if anyone else experienced this.

I'm having to dig past the cobwebs to remember this, but I recall having a similar problem - I had a hysterectomy 10 years ago so I might be way off. I hope you get an answer soon.
