  • It's been a while since I checked in, but I'm still going strong! Down over 12lbs now... pretty happy with Jenny.

Just figured I'd say hi and check in, just in case anyone's out there!
  • Nice! Congratulations and keep up the good work. :-)
  • Jenny
I have been on Jenny Craig since August 1st and have lost 31 pounds using it. I love it. Some of my favorites are the Spaghetti and the Salisbury Steak. The new Chicken Tikka Masala is awesome too. I wish the chocolate chip cookie tasted better!
  • I haven't posted in over a month - but I'm still on Jenny and still doing well! I'm 20lbs down now, yay!! Things are going great and I'm really happy with the program. I've begun to incorporate my own foods, and I'm still losing. Half way point is getting close!!

Good luck to any other Jenny-ers out there! I'll try to check in more often, if there's others looking for a Jenny buddy.

    @cdcn13

I *love* the new Chicken Masala! The new Garden Primavera is also super tastey! My favorite is Jenny's Fish and Chips... helps curb my fast food cravings, haha.

thats a little too fast of weight loss a lot of that is food or water weight. I try to lose at a slower pace and throw in excercise.
  • Hello All

Okay, I have tried Nutrisystem, about three years ago, and hated it. The food was horrible and didn't even taste like food. I have a VERY underactive thyroid, and I cannot lose weight. Along with the weight gain comes extreme fatigue. Doctors can't seem to get my dosage right or something.

Anyway, I was wondering about Jenny Craig....and whether it was worth the investment to give it a try. Weight Watchers has not worked for me, because I sometimes do not have time to track all of my points.

Also, I cannot find anything online that indicates the cost per month of Jenny Craig. I know Nutrisystem was about 300.....is Jenny Craig about that much?

Thanks for any info you can give me!
  • Cost??
Could you tell me what JC costs? I do not want to get on the phone and be stuck talking to someone if I can not afford it.

    Thanks,
    Sheila
  • Start up cost is different, they have different programs.
But count on about $20.00 a day for food
  • Hi Everyone,

I just joined JC yesterday. Over the past 5 years, I have lost abt 35 lbs and kept it off. Now I am ready to lose the next 20.

Is anyone using this arm thing?

    Lynn
  • I love the idea of Jenny Craig but I can't afford it. I tried Nutrisystem but the "shelf-stable" stuff was gross.

There's gotta be a way to do it yourself with Healthy Choice or Lean Cuisine (which I get really cheap on sale). Anyone?
  • Cheaper diet with frozen meals

Yeah there's a diet that does this. Google "I Love This Diet."
  • Hello all! I haven't been here on 3FC for so long. The last time I was here years ago I weighed about 193. I think I was calorie counting back then. Well, now I'm dealing with menopause and dieting seems to take so much more effort now more than ever (I know those of you who are in that age range can relate). I joined Jenny Craig about 10 weeks ago at a starting weight of 210 pounds.

Today I'm down to 187.8. For me, losing 22.2 pounds was miraculous. I honestly thought that I just couldn't get under 190 at this stage in my life. And the Jenny Craig foods are just as delicious, if not more delicious, than I remember them being. I look forward to each scrumptous meal every day and have not felt deprived in the least and am seldom hungry either.

I am shooting for a goal of 150 and hope to be there before the end of the year.
  • LOL...looks like this is a slow moving thread, but I'm just glad to have a place to talk with others who are on this program or thinking about starting.

I was 187.6 this morning, so down another 0.2 from yesterday. I got an invite yesterday to a party for Aug. 17th, and I'll be going to a wedding on Aug. 3rd, so I'm thinking that after the next couple of weeks on JC foods 7 days a week, I'm going to start doing the MyDays JC program. After 12 weeks of doing the complete program and losing almost to my halfway goal with JC, I think I'll be ready by then to start incorporating my own foods into the program. It's a little scary to change from what I'm doing now because it's been working so well, but I know I can't eat frozen meals forever, so time to put on my big-girl panties and make my own foods (gulp). I can do it!

Is anyone here doing the MyDays plan already? If so, how is that going for you?
  • Down another 0.2 this morning for a total of 1.2 pounds for the week and a total of 22.6 since I started JC 10 weeks ago. Not too shabby.
  • Down another 0.6 this morning. Hello? Is this mic on?!?
