What's very low-cal or no-cal snack that you enjoy?

Thanks & God Bless,

Well.... almost nothing is no-cal and I don't know what defines "low-cal" for you. But... veggie chunks are always good, a piece of fruit, a yogurt is about 100 calories and is a great snack since it has protein, and the same with tuna. Tuna pouches are 90 calories and lots of protein to keep you full.

Fresh baby carrots are the hit for me A little bit sweet (but not too much), a little bit juicy, crunchy, low in calories, take time to eat... what else could I ask for?

I like hot-air popcorn, or low fat microwave popcorn. I also like to drink something hot, such as coffee or diet hot cocoa, because I have to take my time with it. I also like dill pickles For something a little sweeter, I like a bowl of fresh fruit drizzled with a little nonfat, sugar free vanilla yogurt.

If you eat those Dannon Light 'N Fit 4 oz yogurts (the 12 pack of em I get is blueberry, strawberry, and raspberry) slow, it's usually a good one. The 4 oz container is 60 calories, NO fat, 11 carbs.

I found a recipe on www.calorieking.com for ff chocolate brownies. They are +/- 95 calories each, with no fat and REALLY easy to make.

My lowest calorie snacks - calories are approx. depending on servings, brands, etc.

carrots as well as celery and cucumber sticks. Possibly with a TB or two of ff dip. (50 cal)

ff yogurt(60-80cal)

a piece of string cheese (70cal)

1 sliced tomato w/ pepper or basil (30 cal)

an apple, orange, plum, peach, small banana

sugar free jell-o (10 cal for one lil cup)

apple sauce cup (50 cal)

fat free hot dog or boca burger (35 cal)

small spinach salad w/ tomatoes and ff dressing (60 cal)

10 low fat wheatables w/ 2 TB salsa (80 cal)

I'll stop there... there are so many choices though and like someone else said, it kind of depends on what you consider "low calorie". If you raise the bar to 100 calories you get even more choices, I tried to stay under 80 here.

Carrots or broccoli
1/2 tb peanut butter on a graham cracker
Healthy-Choice type ice creams
Baked tortilla chips with salsa or fat-free homemade onion dip
Applesauce

a cup of frozen grapes has 60 calories. That's one of my favorites. I also like carrots and celery, and I love the "pineapple pleasures" flavor of applesauce from motts. One little snack pack is 50 calories.

Anything at all on a 50-cal whole wheat tortilla! (I like tuna from a pouch and a touch of cheese, sometimes spinach, good microwaved also)

Frozen unsweetened cherries (cool in Arizona, where I also live, AZ Sunset)

Unsweetened chocolate soymilk (no added sugars or sweeteners of any kind)

Fatfree or lowfat cottage cheese with cherry tomatoes (I like red pepper flakes on this for some reason)

Cherry tomatoes by themselves

Sweet potato in microwave (these are often sold wrapped in microwaveable wrappers ... totally portable and you just stick in the microwave, micro and cut the wrapping open, add butter spray or whatever you like and eat).

Cook chicken breasts, freeze individually and take along in cooler to work or errands

Fat free individual bottles of skim milk from convenience store/grocery store

Whole mushrooms from a jar with mustard (tastes like hot dogs)

Olives, fat free or low fat cheese

Some people like the new South Beach Diet individual paks of cookies or crackers (I don't)

Apples and a bit of cheese

Fruit and bottle of skim milk from convenience store (natural sugars energizing)

Triscuits with natural peanut butter

Lots more ...

i like snaking on mini-pitas (30 cals each) with either kefir cheese (60 cals per tbsp) or tzatziki sauce (15 cals per tbsp).
pickles are good too at 5-10 cals each. or if i want something spicy, kimchi (korean pickled cabbage) is yummy (40 cals per 1/2 c serving).
i'm also loving those special-k snack bars (90 cals).

I personally love dill pickles - VERY low cal, always handy, and full of flavor!!

Other favorites are baby carrots (raw), low fat microwave popcorn, cucumber, grilled zucchinni (LOVE IT) and of course, who can resist a good old-fashioned apple!

Also (I live in Canada - not sure if you can buy them elsewhere) but at my grocery store, they sell these things called "Jelly Straws" in the asian foods section. They are FABULOUS for sweet cravings and only have 10 calories each!!
