Default Anyone else nervous?

I have been on Flex since Jan. I go to meetings and write everything down. I eat a lot of core foods but like the freedom to eat whatever I want and to have a couple of drinks when I want. I know that ww is coming out with a new program in December and our leader keeps hinting that it is going to be core-like. I am nervous that the program is going to become restrictive. I guess I just hate changes and the unknown. Is anyone else anxious about the change???

Not really but then again I do flex but with mainly core foods.....all I can say is that there are women in my meeting still doing the exchange program WW had a long time ago so if you don't like what they come out with next year just stick to what you are doing now It looks like it's working!

Tanee said exactly what I'd say. If what you are doing now is working for you, why switch just because WW has a new program out? There is no reason why you can't continue to move forward with Flex as-is! Don't be nervous

Personally I'm kind of looking forward to the new program. Maybe it will give us more ideas about what we can eat and a little more flexibility with our food and points. But I should also say that I've only been doing this for 3 weeks and am still struggling to get the hang of the whole points thing. Just my 2 cents.

Be good to yourselves today!!

I'm a little out of the loop, this is the first I've heard about it! I'm doing WW Online and don't go to meetings, so I guess I've been in my own little world. I'm interested to see what it's going to be like.

dunno if this is it, but i was told this came out odf a test group:

figure out your daily points like Flex...
You get to select a set number of points or if it's less points to count because you're eating less, count that. For example, fruits are 2 pts for all you can eat to satisfaction... if you ate 1/2 apple, you would count 0.5 pt. That would be the count but let's say you want fruit salad, count 2.
So for example you want grains, in that category you can select pasta, rice, corn, anything including potatoes as well. There is no once a day rule in this category. You can pick less than 6 pts and count that or eat to satisfaction which is 6.
Protein.... any kind be it veggie burgers, eggs, lean meats, less than 5 pts, use that number or if you eat to satisfaction it is 5.
Dairy is a pts count,so is cheese.
If let's say you had 30 daily pts in a day, you could do this...
B:5 for all you can eat to satisfaction eggs, with some canadian bacon and veggies which have no pts. Add fruit for 2 since you can have a a bowl of fruit salad for example.
L:grains list... all you can eat to satisfaction...6 pts, veggies, proteins 5 pts
D:2 tsp oil,2,pts,milk 2 cups=4pts,veggies,salad,5 pts protein,add a couple of wpa's for bread for ex.

I'm sort of excited for a new plan. I think it helps to get re-motivated. Plus, I trust WW - every change they've made has been an improvement over the previous plan. My leader seems really excited too, so that's helping.

I'm looking forward to the new plan -- the rumors are enticing One problem I've had with WW (my fault, not theirs) is that my head is still stuck in the old exchange program (which worked beautifully for me 20 years ago), and eat that 1200 calories a day (about 24 points) and then 8 or so points of whatever I want -- usually vending machine snacks. That's irresponsible of me, but I'll be happy if (as i've read) WW emphasizes real foods again.

As for eating to satisfaction -- doesn't work for me. I'm not a volume eater. I just eat CONSTANTLY

sounds a bit confusing for me, I guess I need it spelled out in crayon LOL. If I ate to satisfaction on some foods oh my!

I guess I will wait until there is more information on how much is too much and what is the exact meaning of satisfaction. and how often do you get to have a food to satisfaction a day...does that make sense?

I just started working for WW and I'm not allowed to spill the beans, but trust me-- everyone will like the new program! Wonderful enhancements and it will be easy for everyone to follow. Wish I could say more!
