Default I met my first goal!

As of today, for the first time in 5 years, I am no longer morbidly obese! Now I am just obese. I need to take progress pics. I only have one pic that I know of of me at my heaviest, 36 pounds ago, so I'll have to scan it. It is buried in a drawer god knows where! In 36 pounds, I have lost 2 sizes and gained a ton of energy!
I wasn't always this overweight, I tore some cartilage in my chest and couldn't move well for about 6 months. I ended up gaining about 65-75 pounds over the course of a year or so while I was battling some depression and the physical challenges. And it's taking me forever to get it off! I am determined to meet each of my goals though, however long it takes! Next goal is 200 pounds or a BMI of 35

Good for you!! I know how you feel- I gained about 40 lbs last year due to some really stressful events, which lead to depression and a vicious cycle. Doesn't it feel good to pull yourself out of it and get better? When a year ago it was maybe the last thing on your mind??
