Default 40 Pounds & 2 Sizes

Since January, I have lost 41 pounds. This is my lowest weight in I don't know how long---probably 5-6 years.

I went shopping at Target this evening because everyone is teasing me about my clothes falling off. I have gone from a size 22 to an 18! The skirts that I bought in an 18 were just right. I fit into a 16-18 shirt! It fits my body nicely. I'm so excited.

This was the exact boost I've needed.

Sounds like you are on a roll! Getting some new clothes at Target was definitely a good idea, because they have cute stuff but it's not too expensive....so when you lose more weight you could probably donate them or something. I LOVE shopping too; it's a great motivator to see yourself in stylish clothes that fit well!

Great job so far

Thanks everyone. It's the first time in a long time I didn't dread shopping. Funny thing is that I bought all skirts & shirts & I rarely wear skirts or dresses! I guess I have a bit more confidence. Tomorrow is new shoes!

I'm calorie counting (a range of 1200-1500 per day) and I exercise at least 3 days a week--usually for at least an hour.

Cool and congratulations on your WONDERFUL accomplishment!

Buying new clothes in a much smaller size after a significant weight loss is the most glorious and transcendent experience I can think of!
