Default NSV - Someone Noticed!

As I was leaving jazzercise last night, one of the ladies came up to me and whispered," Are you losing weight?? How much have you lost??" I told her about 10 lbs (from when she first saw me) and she said "I can tell! Your tummy is getting smaller!" LOL Too funny! I am always amazed when people notice small amounts...I forget that other people are much more observant than I am. DH makes fun of me. He says for a visual artist, I am the least likely to notice how a person looks or what they wear of anyone he's ever met. It's true...unless someone is really a stand out, I barely pay attention to appearances. Which is good and bad I guess And probably why I think the whole world should wear sweats all the time...maybe jeans for dressing occasions. If only I ruled the world!

Once the first person notices, and says something, things tend to speed up! We tend to feel good when we get the compliments, that makes us work even harder, more weight loss, more noticing! It's a GREAT cycle to be in! Way to go!

Awesome! On an unrelated note, however, I noticed you have a Tucson trip planned for 2/2 - are you going to the gem show? Are you a jeweler? I'm an art student working in metals and run my own little business selling my work - this will be my second year in tucson We're going the 3rd to the 6th. If you are going, any tips or places not to miss while there? If I've completely made this up in my head, then I'm blushing a little... but not too much.

Yes we are! We will be there the 2-5 and then we are going up to the grand canyon. I've never been before, but my husband went last year. We sell rough for faceters and gemological supplies, so we will mostly be going to the wholesale shows. I know we have passes for gjx, agta, and jogs. I am hoping to start my FGA this spring. Can't wait! hey, you might want to check out gemologyonline.com it's a non-profit gemology forum with really smart people talking about rocks lol
