This is my journey so far. I have lost my modivation to count and seriously monitor my eating. I still eat healthy and all as that lesson is learned. BUT I took a "break" from exercising (about a month) and got back to power walking and weight lifting 2 weeks ago. This week I threw my back out pretty bad and will have to put it off another week or more. And Dr. says no more jogging which is a bummer, I felt really good about doing something I sincerely thought was too hard for me. I'm a size 14 now and have been around that most of my adult life. Its hard for me to push past my "normal". HELP!!! I like who I see in the mirror until that moment I'm standing next to someone smaller.

If I had looked like you when I started at 210, I am not even sure I would be concerned with losing. You look awesome and without trying to sound "funny", very sexy. Congrats!

Stevi, Hi. You do look beautiful. Injury's are always a bummer. Do what the doctor says and wait until your back is healed to exercise. I know it's hard. (I have been off the exercise schedule for 2 months due to ankle injury). You have done fantastic with wt. loss and you can still do it. Try to go back to writing everything down each day, it's the only thing that helps me. Keep up the good work. You'll push through to that smaller size that you want, it just takes time.

Awww shucks. Thank you for the kind words. Being so, ummm... Porportunate(?) I geuss, is part if not most of my problem. Its easy to be happy with what I've currently got. You should see me standing next to my size 6 keyboard player!! I look like a moose.

Stevi i know what ya mean about will power and motivation. It took both my parents dying young for me to realize that I was down the same road unless I did something quick! So if you can't do it for vanitys sake, do it for your health! You may not have any trouble now, I know I don't but just being overweight can set us up for a health disaster in the future. Overweight people are more prone to heat disease, diabetes and cancer than skinny people!

Long time no see. Let me just say you look absolutely amazing. Please don't give up now. I have always found you very motivating.
I have been kinda in the same boat as you. I have been at 210 since the end of July and its so hard sometimes to keep going. I have managed to climb back on the wagon in the last week and so far so good.
Take care of your back and you'll get there.
Thanks for sharing the progress pics. I know it totally motivated me. I need to take some new pics. I go my hair cut and colored thats why I changed my avatar.
