I know i will lose, and follow the program to a tee, but i'm freaked about maintenance and keeping it off, that's always on my mind- i dont want to give up some of my favorite foods, i just have to learn how and when to eat them. But, i'm encouraged. I have to see loss ongoingly, and that keeps me goin'.
Welcome! Isn't it fun to see how quickly you can start seeing changes? I can really see it in my face, funny thing one day I rested my head on my hand and was like, "whoa I can feel my cheekbones!" Those moments keep ya going for sure.

Hi there- thanks monkeysocks for your msg, yes, it truly is amazing. At weigh in today, i hit 10 pds even, but measured a loss of 19" in these 2 weeks time. My focus though is getting to maintenance, thats the part I have trouble with, but seeing that the weight is coming off so quickly, I hope to get to goal sometime in May- I visit the maintenance page a lot on this site, to keep my hopes up that the weight will stay off. Glad to hear things are going with you too.

Regarding foods- I am loving the HNS Capaccino, wow! And, I have found Walden Farms dressings and BBQ sauce to be the bomb.

And, not sure the HCG reminder was towards me, I am not on drops or injections, and my plan is not 500 calories, I feel that the plan I'm on is very healthy and satisfying. In fact, I am very pleased with my portion sizes that I'm allowed to have, so I don't believe that I'm in the 'concern' category they are talking about. Love what I'm on

abc12345 - I haven't tried the cappuccino, so thanks for the recommendation!

Whew, it was a busy but productive week for me. I'm down another 4 lbs. this week, for a total of 48.5. Looking forward to reaching 50 by next week if I can stay focused, lol!

Springtime has arrived here in TN, and the warmer weather makes me long to sit on the patio with a glass of wine, or nosh on chips and salsa at my favorite Mexican restaurant. Every season will require a shift in thought from what I have done in the past. I NEED to associate spring time with long walks and outdoor activities! Hoping to work on that goal!

Belated thanks for the advice. I decided not to eat the Cadbury egg but has anyone noticed how yummy the waffers are?! So good!

I love spring but I associate a lot of things with food and fun and alcohol. Spring reminds me of fire pits and drinking beer. Piņa coladas on the patio with friends on a warm spring day. Grilling burgers, corn on the cob and steak. Yard games and late night star gazing. My toddler has curbed a lot of these activities but I still crave them none the less. The good thing about spring is that it also makes me crave salads and fruit and veggies. Fall is a horrible food craving season for me- its all casseroles and bread and thick creamy soup.

Default April has been great!

Hi I'm new here and new to the MRC plan! On week 4 of the 17 week MetaSlim program, down 18.5 lbs & 18.5 total inches! I chose this plan because I needed help! I love the weigh ins and the support!

Easter was good for me, I used the opportunity to show/teach the family about the plan and you should have seen their faces when I weighed the food!
I have a very jam packed busy life with 3 boys at home and a new career as an RN on night shift!! My biggest setback is working nights and then being up days sometimes! Sleep for me is very important and is the deciding factor in whether I have good or bad days!
Lets all have a great April & Spring!!!!!

Welcome, junebug! Getting your family to buy in to what you are doing is a huge plus for you! I can't imagine how your schedule must mess with you mentally and physically...that's tough! Regardless, you have already proven you can do it with the last four weeks, which is outstanding. Congratulations and keep it going!

Hello everyone!

I'm still moving along, down 34.5 lbs now. I had my first out of town 3 day trip while on the program, I did good by maintaining. I tried my best to eat on plan and when I didn't have access I picked the healthiest I could find. It was a milestone for me, made me realize I can do this even when I reach goal weight.

Thanks dkmd27!

I'm loving this wonderful weather we are having plus with less weight and more energy I've finally gotten a lot of little projects around my house and yard finished. Another bonus added to positive motivations list

3 lbs down from the last time I checked in and bye bye 190's, that's a good bye I'm not sad to see!

I hope you all are doing well and losing lots!
