Help! I'm sooooo sick with a nasty crud/cold/flu/ick and I'm way off plan because of it. I'm insanely frustrated, because I was finally back on track, but my throat is killing me and I have infections in both ears and I can't breathe out of my nose AND I'M GOING NUTS! The pudding and drinking HNS's hurt my throat and I don't have any HNS soups (or the energy to drive to my center to pick some up...with the amount of cold meds I am on I should not be driving anyway!). I've been drinking chicken broth like it's going out of style. Any suggestions?

Not food related, but I have had the drainage crud and sore throat for several days and I used Afrin nose spray, or actually the stores generic and it actually cleared my sinus's almost immediately. I also know they have not been able to get the HNS chicken bouillon for several weeks and don't plan on shipping any out till next week so it probably wouldn't do much good to try to get any of that either. You can also freeze the little packets of HNS flavored drinks and eat them like a popcicle, it helps your throat. I used the HNC strawberry banana jello and just drank it cold so it was soothing to my throat. I hate that you feel so bad, hope you get better soon.
