Question help with the carbs on the IP Diet

I have a question. I was told that I needed to stay between 20-25 carbs per day on the IP diet. I was also told unlimited lettuce and celery. Is the carb count include the IP drinks and foods? Do we count the lettuce and celery? I don't see how one can keep the carb count at below 26 when you are supposed to eat 4 cups of vegetables a day. Just really confused about the carbs.

No the veggies aren't counted in that. Also it is not true that you need to stay within 20 -25 carbs. If you follow the protocol sheets you don't need to count anything. With veggies and with all three packages including the restricted one daily it comes out to about 40 carbs.
