Default American Rag

Anyone heard of it? They just started selling a plus size line (apparently VERY recently because I can't even find it online). I saw it at Macy's today and I LOVE it. It's kind of Fossil-esque. Keep your eyes peeled ladies, it's a good find in the limited plus size market.

edit- For you non-plus size ladies, the regular sizes are sold in Macy's juniors department

American Rag is a Macy's private brand, like INC, Style & Co., or Charter Club. The fit tends to be a little more lenient than most juniors clothes--I can generally wear at least one size smaller than in other brands. The quality of the clothes is really nice for juniors, but of course it's a little pricier too. My particular store does not carry the plus sizes, but we do carry the jeans up to a 15 so I'd think for anyone about to slip into a missy 14-16, it's an option!

Further Review:

Well I was so excited about my new clothes, and I still like one of the shirts. But the other shrank horribly! It's still wide enough, but the length stops maybe an inch below my belly button. I hand washed it and layed flat to dry, per the tag's instructions. So disappointing, I only got to wear it once

Return it! You followed the care instructions. It's not supposed to be a take n' toss disposable shirt. Take it back.

Did you put it on your Macy's card? They may still take it back if you put it on your card, because they can find the transaction in their system.

Try for store credit or an exchange. If you're nice (I really liked this but when I washed it according to the directions, it lost all it's length and it's just unwearable), they'll throw you something. They sold you something that is, essentially, defective. They should have to take it back.

Might want to even try calling a 1800 number for their customer service and asking them? GL!
