Yes. We could. But I doubt we will. We probably would win, but wouldn't be able to collect. They have been less than careful with their money. Since they left, they bought a 3rd house, a boat, a new motor home AND they've taken 3-4 cruises per year AND they've gone to Mexico at least twice a year. In confidence, we've been told that they're basically down to nothing. She's over 65, so they could use her 401k money. He's still only in his late 50's, so he can't touch his. Besides all this, they are also our landlords in the building. We tried to buy it from them last year, but their 3rd partner in the building thinks the building is worth far more than it is and she won't consent to the sale. So it'd be even more awkward for us to sue them.

Megan I think you and Emma can vouch for the lab/pit mix being a great dog, yes? I have never dealt with full pit bulls (except to keep my guys away from the intact males who occasionally are brought to the off leash) but pit/lab mixes are very nice dogs. Particularly the female ones.

My best friend has a lab/pit mix. He's a good dog, but aggressive. She actually had to send him away for training in order to be able to adopt her latest dog because every dog that came to visit, he'd attack. He's much better, but spends a lot of time in his kennel these days so that he doesn't attack her new puppy and her two fosters.

I got my car! I'll post pictures tomorrow. I was going to take pictures today but it's threatening rain, and God forbid I let me new car get wet! LOL

Things pretty much ho hum around here.

Enjoying the pet chat. I think the reason for all the chihuahua's in shelters is because they are little no one teaches them any manners and they turn into little biting hellions. Just because they are little does not mean they shouldn't have manners and behave themselves.

We may be fostering a 7/8 mo old female doberman.

Gotta run, have to work this morning and a wedding this afternoon.

It never did rain. Windy as all get out right now, though.

We're having a deeply humid day, you could say sultry, with the edge of a thunderstorm darkening the sky. If the storm finally comes, the rain would wring out all this humidity from the air. But it hasn't, so it's inducing a tropical torpor in me. I find that I want to lie around. But I need to cook for the week, which means visiting a few grocery stores, and I really want to get some things hung up on the walls in the apartment. And, of course, there is office work that carried over into the weekend. There always is. It's better if I do it now than let it ruin Sunday night, like the undone homework of my youth.

Janelle-- Dobies are one of my favorite breeds! The best dog we've ever owned was a female dobie that was a stray. She was my dog that we had to amputate a leg due to bone cancer (similar to Allison's Chico).

Tomorrow I'm going to meet a rescue Doxie. I'm trying to decide if it would be a good idea to add another dog to our zoo.... I think I'll meet her and try not to get too attached so I can make the decision rationally. She is tiny (6 pounds) and has recently had double hip surgery as she was hit by a car. She is supposed to be a sweetie.

Allison-- love love love the car!!

My weight was okay this morning after returning from visiting dd. I never believe my weight one way or the other after traveling so I'll see what happens in the next few days.

Last few days with younger dd before we take her to college. She is trying to see everyone and do everything before she goes--- and trying my patience....typical I know....

Beautiful car (and you look pretty good too Allison). I've forgotten - which car did you wind up getting again?

Well, Allison, now that's like a picture of the good life out West. Hot blonde in sunglasses and sandals standing next to a hot-looking car.

I'm definitely in the midst of some kind of crash here, as it's an hour and fifteen minutes past when I'd usually go to the gym on a Sunday, and I still haven't gotten there. I slept eight hours last night, practically straight through. I dreamed that I was explaining to Beyonce about what young girls saw in her.

I will take a big drink of cold water and head to the gym shortly.
