I am on the gold plan with my own lites (using Pria or South Beach bars) and when I enter all my info into fitday.com I come up to 1100-1200 calories a day.
Good for you for not spending $3500 on bars and finding another way. I KNOW that the plan works without them, as I've lost 18 lbs in 10 weeks (averaging 1.78 lbs per week w/o bars)
Oh, and I had to pay a "personal enhancement" fee of $89 when I joined - that was for bloodwork, which I chose to have at the end of WL, and to meet with the RN.
