If you don't mind me asking, about how much do you weigh, and how much do you have to lose? That will really change the diet that will be best for you, and how quickly you might be able to lose weight.
I lost 11# in 3 weeks on South Beach, then another 8# in another 9-10 weeks. It's a very healthy diet, but to understand it you need to read the book. I do have to cook and prepare more food from scratch, but the SB forum here is very supportive and has lots of recipes and tips.
