Just follow the guidlines in your menu planner and you'll do fine!

When you say "first Take Off", just make sure you don't mean that you're doing Fast Forward. As stated earlier, Fast Forward is the initial "kick off" of the plan. That's where the protein is unlimited. In a Take Off -- which is done after you've been on the plan for some time -- you do NOT get to eat fats and your proteins are limited to 6 oz. per day.
I just found an egg white product today that is sold in 3 little packages of 4 oz. each -- ideal to make 3 egg meals in a day without having to think about measurement! I had a lovely little omelet with fresh spinach for lunch -- and still have spinach and eggs left for supper.
I can't recall, however, the story on decaf coffee (I do know that they discourage too much caffeinated stuff) or Splenda. Anyone have the answers to this one? I have no COD to turn to.
Thanks. --Sue

I'm doing the Take Off right now as well. I'm about to start on the Free to Live menu. Today was my first TO day, and oh my... it's tough! I usually get 3.5 servings of protein (14oz a day), so really only getting 1.5 (6oz) is tough!

These tips were also helpful to me. I have been snacking a lot on cucumbers too. I bought mini cucumbers, which are great. Snack size.

I can't wait to start my Free to Live program. This TO thing isn't easy. LOL.

I didn't realize that you could do "snacks" and extras -- even salad or cukes. I thought you just have the 2 vegetable portions each day.
(Boy, am I hungry -- nearing the end of the second day of TO).

They just loosened up the restrictions lately from the limited veggies to unlimited green veggies. I think it was just green veggies, so as much undressed lettuce as you want to eat.
