Default Savory Blue Hake (Fish)

Good day! Thank you again for submitting your recipe. Below you will find our LA Chef modifications:

Recipe Name: Savory Blue Hake

Ingredients:
1/2 large white onion, thinly sliced
1 tsp. butter or margarine
1 tsp.dried dill weed
1 tsp. garlic pepper
1/2 tsp. Morton LIte Salt®
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 ( 5 or 7 oz.) blue hake prime cut loins
1/2 cup dried bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
1/2 cup shredded reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese
lemon if desired



Preparation:

Heat oven to 400F.

In small cooking spray coated skillet, sauté onion slices in butter; set aside.

Coat a (9 X 13 inch) pan with cooking spray.

In small bowl, mix dill weed, garlic powder, Morton Lite Salt®, and pepper.

Place fish in prepared pan; sprinkle evenly with herb mixture.

Layer onions, crumbs and cheese over herbs.

Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes, or until fish flakes easily with a fork.

Squeeze fresh lemon over fish, if desired.


Makes: 4 servings

Serving size: 1/4th recipe
