Yes, Actually Today Is My First Day Here And I Like The Fact That You Get Support. I'm A Stay At Home Mom And My 8 Month Old Keeps Me Pretty Busy. I Started Atkins On Monday And So Far I'm Doing Great I Weigh 162 And I Want To Drop To 145. Hopefully I Can Do It!!
Hey Rabbit! I'm new also..well.. new again.. lol. I've been working on my lifestyle change since February (I hate calling it a diet). I started out at 176. I can remember thinking.. Please just let me hit the 160's. It seemed so overwhelming to me at the time but now, seven months later I'm at 142. It hasn't been easy and there were quite a few times I messed up but I NEVER gave up. You WILL lose the weight with a positive frame of mind and a good support system. I'm still not quite where I want to be, I'm 5'2 also and would like to one day maybe see the 130's or God forbid the 120's.. lol. Just set your mind on accomplishing mini-goals and the end result will be worth it. I found it helpful to just take it literally one pound at a time. That way if I didn't lose say 10 lbs by such and such date I didnt' feel like a failure.. but do whatever works for you and remember you have literally thousands of people backing you one hundred percent of the way here at 3fatchicks!!
