I've been lurking around for quite awile now, but just got registered today. This site seems like just the support I need.
I'm 49, married with 2 children (both out of the house). I have really started putting on the pounds around the stomach area in the last few years and I'm afraid I have had to start buying new clothes to fit lately as my old ones are really tight. I'm going to try the counting calories and excercise route so wish me luck!

I'm 51 and I have had a weight problem all my life. For the last 8 years I was the thinnest I had ever been....I don't know why I let myself go but I did and none of my clothes fit....OMG....I even bought a beautiful fur jacket on Ebay which has been in storage for over a year (I live in Fl) and it is way too small. None of my clothes fit and I even went out and bought new underwear in a larger size. I am pretty disgusted w/ myself and I hope we can be weight loss buddies and help each other!!!!!!!! Annie....
