Hello my name is Amy and I stumbled accross this web site a few hours ago and found just what I was looking for. I have been doing some researching and planning my diet. God that word is so scary!!! I am 25 years old, married, full time student on, and mother of three (7,4, and 7 weeks). Like my peanut butter, I have always been on the "chunky" side (I refuse to admit that I am fat)! Anyway, Im weighing in at 178. To some this doesnt sound so bad- like the girl I sit by at school she says she's 170 but looks great being 5' 10" I on the other hand I am only 4'11 and thats with big shoes on. My goal weight is around 130, and would like to get there by August. I have done weight watchers in the past and had great results and didnt really excersize (no one can complain about losing 21 pounds in 3 weeks) Well now thats the path I plan on taking again. My first meeting will be Wednesday but this time I plan on adding some excersize and I have my 17 year old cousin willing to do it too! . Walking with the kids 3 times a week (great for them too) I figure if they ride their bikes I will be forced to pick up my walking pace. Family night for 2 hours at the skating rink once a week will be great and Im in luck my skates still fit from when I was 14 lol! Lastly I am considering a low impact step aerobics at my local YMCA. Its once a week for 1 hour and is for beginners but I have never done anything like this before and wanted to know if any of you all have tried it and what you thought/think? I would be greatful for any feedback, and would love to hear for someone in my boat. Every post I have read seems so positive- and I hope you all keep up the good work!
