My goal was to lose about -25#. That was about 8 years ago & I did it in about 4 months. That might not seem like much to lose, but it's the same struggle to not Regain those fat pounds as it is for ppl that lose -50# & keeping that off.
I tried W.Watchers & TOPS diet groups. I think that we can use bits/tips from many diet plans, but ultimately they are exactly the same. Count our calorie intake & limit: saturated fat, sodium & increase our protein & fiber. That's how I got to my goal weight & also lost a extra -5#. I'm content w my weight & size & I haven't used any diets. I've eaten anything I want for +7 years by eating only 1-2 serving size of whatever I want, no counting calories, etc after I got to my size medium goal. I simply use measuring cups or small bowls/plates for the 1-2 serving size routine that became my eating lifestyle. I ate my favorite ice cream for my snack tonight, I put it in a cute mug that holds about 10-12 ounces of coffee. I only eat more than 2 servings of veggies.
I just got a Fitbit Charge 2 months ago to stay toned during the winter months & I love it
I have friends here on 3FC on my buddy list & we support & challenge each other.
