Default New mom here

Hi! I'm not new to the forum but newly getting back on after a pregnancy to lose the baby weight. I lost a lot pretty soon postpartum but still have about 10 pounds to go, and hopefully another 10 while I'm at it, to get back to post-trying-to-conceive weight as well.

Any other new moms around? Obviously it's challenging to diet while taking it super slow while breastfeeding, not to mention finding any time to prepare healthy meals or exercise! So far I'm taking walks with the baby and trying to keep sugary snacks out of the house so I'm not tempted to eat away the stress and tiredness.

Welcome! Sorry I am not a mom so I can't relate that way. I am sure that having a baby makes it hard to find time to cook healthy and exercise when you are on the schedule of a baby.

Definitely a good start with healthy foods. Hide the bad foods, and fill your house with convenient healthy snacks. I think breastfeeding, eating healthy, and your walks will probably melt that weight sooner than you think! If you want to keep more accountable you can always count calories (tedious) but it works!

Hello there! Congrats with little beautiful baby! I am not a mom too, but i can understand how hard it is to follow healthy lifestyle when you are breasfeeding and lack of time(( But you came here and this is good;-) you chose good start - less of "bad" food and walks will help you from the start! and when you finish with breastfeeding and will be able to find more free time you can go further with diets/healthy food. Best of luck!
