Hi everyone,

My Name is Ameera, i am new here and would love to make new friends. Like most of you here i am trying to lose weight. i have started 6 months ago and i have lost 30 Ibs already. My current weight is 267 and my short goal weight is be 245 by May 3rd ( my 12th wedding anniversery). my Husband and I are planning to go on a short vecation and i would love to be able to buy size 22 clothing. i am currently a size 26. My long term goal, however, is to reach 150 by the end of next year ( giving myself almost 2 years to do so). .

Thought of the day: My happy thought help create my healthy body

Welcome to the board! I call my friends who are adapting to a new lifestyle of eating plan (I don't call them diets because I want it to last forever, hasn't worked yet, but I keep trying LOL) fellow losers. Looks like you have gotten the hang of it awhile back. 30 lbs is AWESOME!

Hi Ameera!

It looks like you're doing great. Keep up what's working for you. If you ever need extra tips and help, I'm sure many including myself could help. There's no one right way to diet. You'll find hundreds of ways here and elsewhere. Find the ones that work FOR YOU and you are NOT miserable doing.
