Hello everyone, my name is Emily and I am 21 years old.

A week ago, I was the heaviest I've ever been. I was 313lbs. I saw the scale and I was embarressed of myself. I don't enjoy what I see in mirror, the size I wear, or how I feel. Seeing my weight hit 300, actually over, gave me a sudden wake up call. I am so ready for a change!!

Since last monday I have been very determined, something I haven't been in a very long time. I have an iPhone and i've downloaded an app called "Lose It". It's been helping me with my calorie count and showing me my nutrition intake. I have cut out pop, unhealthy snacking, and fast food. I've been doing moderate workouts everynight before I go to bed as well.

So far, a week later, I'm down 7.2 pounds! I can't explain how excited I am..knowing what I'm doing IS WORKING!

I'm really looking forward to meeting supporters and making new friends along the way.

7.2lbs!! Congrats!! And welcome to the forums!! Good luck with your weightloss. You are smart to get a hold on this while you are young, I wish I believed everyone when I was your age. Post often and we will help all that we can!
