Hello everyone been lurking around on this site and finally had the guts to introduce myself. I'm 25 years old 5ft 1in and 286lbs. Something I will say I'm not proud of but it's time for me to get my butt into gear and lose weight and get healthy not just for me but my husband and 4 year old daughter. I started drinking and doing drugs at the age of 14-15 and did it for years. I met my husband about 7 years ago and he put his foot down and told me I needed to stop my lifestyle before I either ended up in jail or worse dead. So I did but not in the healthy way. I transferred my drug and alcohol addiction to food and just steadily gained weight over the last 5 years. I've tried losing weight but honestly have not given it 100% but I'm ready to do this. I figure if I can get over some of the things in life that I have than I can get through this addiction to food. I wish everyone luck on their journey to weight loss and a healthy life.
