Health made me do it
Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum, but not new to the whole weight loss struggle. Many years ago I gained a lot of weight, did Atkins and lost it, and was ok at keeping it off for a while. Then over the years it came back again. I got married 2 years ago and since then have gotten "happy and fat" with my husband.
I recently had a lower back problem that caused me to really evaluate what I wanted out of life and how I wanted to live it. (Having your doctor tell you that if you don't lose weight your back problems will only get worse didn't hurt either.) So I started the Ideal Protien Diet today through my chiropractor's office. I'm excited and a little nervous about it, but I'm committed to getting back to the size I was when I got married!
I have already read a lot of great suggestions on the IP section of this forum and hopefully they will help me to stay on track for the 4 months I expect to be in the first phase losing the majority of my weight. My hubby is also committed to helping me, so I think it won't be as bad as I fear.
Thanks in advance for all of the advice and support that I know I'll get here form all of you wonderful folks going through the same thing that I am.
