Hi all,

I figured I should make an intro. I am 32, live in Colorado, am a step mom to a 15yo and 11yo, an been married a little over a year. I am just getting started on the Ideal Protein Diet, and struggling a bit as its only day 7, but trying to hang in there. I ultimately have about 45-50lbs to lose, but am currently just trying to lose 25 (I am finishing treatment on my back and neck) so that I am in a healthier spot to start trying for a baby in a few months (we have put it off long enough)

Sierra, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans such as IP, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the 30-somethings.
