Gosh...I really suck at these hello and intro posts. I've always known that I was overweight but it wasn't until very recently that I decided to get serious about it. I got that final kick right in the bum to help get me jump-started. A lot has gone wrong in my life and I really want to work hard to correct that.
All of my past attempts at losing weight have failed. I've come to realize that I need the strength and support of those going through or who have gone through the same ordeal as myself.
I accidentally stumbled upon this place when Googling multivitamins. I am SO HAPPY THAT I FOUND THIS PLACE! Words cannot express my gratitude to the people who decided to start a community like this. And I really really really really hope that I can make good friends here and someday be an inspiration and a help to others.
Along with my grateful hello to all of you wonderful people out there, I want to share that I started a blog yesterday. Until I found this site I thought that my blog was going to be my only source of motivation. I really hope that changes. It might get depressing at times and I'll surely feel at some point that I just can't do it...and I'm hoping with all the inspiration here I can find the will to move forward.
If anyone wants to trade or share blogs just message me and I would be grateful to read as much inspiring material as I can!

I only started here in the last week and it has been great just knowing that if I have a really stupid question to ask, or need a bit of motivation I have somewhere that i can go to get it without feeling like someone is judging me. It has helped enormously with my headspace and thinking about weightloss.
So happy to have you join us! We're all aiming to get healthier and maybe drop a few pounds (and keep them off for good!), so we can all support each other in that.
