Howdy! My name's Sheril and i'm 25 from Maryland!

I've lurked this community for awhile, but now i'm tired of lurking! So, down to the nitty gritty about myself. Here is the basic rundown of my weight gain, When I was young, I was pretty healthy, then when I was 13 I had heart surgery...gained weight, when I was 18 I met my, now ex, who i was with for 6 years, gained alot.

Now i've decided after so long to get my life back on track, i've joined a gym and go atleast 5 of the 7 days (I LOVE Cardio and Zumba!...and swimming, oh how i looooove to swim!)

Honestly it's been a battle with food my whole life, I LOVE food, I find comfort in it, but now i'm trying to break away from that habit.

But yeah, i'm very excited to be here So um, HI!!

Welcome, Snowflake! Your story sounds a little familiar to me. I love food too..therein lies the problem. My biggest obstacle in my new life change is going to be portion control.
