Default Starting over!

Hello everyone, my name is Fabbie and like most of you, I need to lose weight and a LOT of it. I have been dieting for a long time now and though i lose weight on these diets, i find that i get bored easily and soon after stop the diet. I just got the 6 week body makeover program from Micheal Thurmond and plan on starting it tomorrow. Has anyone used this program? If so, how well does it work? And if not, can anyone recommend any other diets, I'm more than willing to try them. So far i have done the Atkins diet, Weight watchers, Cabbage diet, Raw food diet and many more. I'm hoping that this time will be the last of my diet days. I need to lose the weight, i have to lose it. I currently weight 298.8 lbs and my goal weight is 135 lbs.

Welcome. I suggest you look for a Support Group or Challenge to join; a small group of friends to help keep you motivated, find one that inspires you or fits your needs, and just post to join.

Hey there Fabbie and welcome to the site. I have never used any of those diets because I feel the same way, you do awesome for the first three weeks and then come to a stop. For every one it is different how they will lose the weigh, I personally go with the whole calorie counting and writing everything down in a food journal. Honestly this will be my fourth time losing weight, I lost between 40-50 by calorie counting, this time is the hardest because I have a five yr old son. I think that this should be the easiest because I have to run after him. Well you came to the right website, there are ton of support here and there is always someone who you can talk with. Good luck.
