I'm so thrilled to find this message board. I've been dieting alone since May 2010. So far, I've done reasonably well... but having the support of others and reading all of the success stories is so encouraging!
In May 2010 I weighed 198 on my scale and was wearing a size 16-18. I was horrified! I've always been relatively fit.
I've been counting calories, working out daily and stopped ALL fast food and sodas (okay... I do have the occasional diet soda!)
I'm now 166 and a comfortable size 12. My first goal is to fall in the "normal" BMI range for my height (5'5"). I believe that would be 150lbs. I then would like to be about 135... but I'm only setting realistic goals right now.
Thanks for allowing me to share this. I look forward to reading even more of your success stories!
