Default Finally deciding to say hi....So Hello everyone!

I've been lurking around here for almost two weeks, and I am so inspired by all of you who are sticking to your plans and meeting your goals! Your stories, advice, and great pictures are helping me to see that weight loss is possible, and I don't think I would still be on my diet, now almost two weeks in, if it weren't for all the people here who have shown me that it CAN be done! So thank you all so very much. I started my diet at 275 pounds, and I hope to reach 120 pounds. Right now I am counting calories, and limiting myself to 1500 each day. I hope in the near future to be able to include some form of exercise into my daily routine. My favorite forms of activity are swimming and walking. I'm looking forward to eating better, feeling better, becoming more active, and chatting with you all!

Welcome, this is a wonderful place to hang around, lots of loving, non-judgmental and INTELLIGENT support. I think there is no other site quite like it. Glad to have you here.
I will:Journal every bite * Be gentle to myself and my family * Exercise to the best of my ability * Drink at least 8 glasses of water * Focus on colorful veggies, salads, low gycemic fruit, lean proteins and healthy fats * Limit grains * Get up at the same time everyday and get back into routine * Visit 3FC every day, it makes a big difference to my attitude, thanks to the wonderful folks here.

Congratulations on getting started!
I'm just getting started too.
I think you have a good, solid plan.
That's really all there is to it... calories and exercise.

Good luck getting started with it.
