Hey!! I am new here, I found 3FC looking for info about Ketosis, WOW what a find!! I am really enjoying all the stories about everyone's diets.

I am 38 Yrs old and a lifetime yo-yo'er. Last time I dieted was about 11 years ago, I did Atkins and I dropped 85 lbs. But I let it creep back on me>>> I started Atkins again, the newer book, and I have lost 6 lbs as of today. We(me and my Daughter) started on 5-17-2010. I weigh 260 that day and she weighed 190. We are both shorty's, me 5'4", her 5'1" We decided to do it together and would like to make this our new lifestyle forever!

Thanks y'all!! We are super excited!! I am coming at this thong with a different perspective than I have ever had before!! Carbs are not my friends!!! It time for me to quit acting like they are!!! My husband is a naturally thin person and I have tried to still cook the foods he likes and then try not to eat them,that is torture, but this time we agreed to him eating the way we eat for that one meal a day that we all eat together!! So I am also thankful to finally have his support!! I think it's hard for people who don't gain weight to understand!
